Have you been blessed by the Lord with a musical talent that is not being used for His glory? Has it been years since you have had an opportunity to use your musical instrument for the furtherance of the Kingdom of God? Has the Lord burdened your heart to exalt His name with the voice you have been given? At Henry Baptist Church, we offer a number of tremendous opportunities for you, the musician, to be used by the Lord in the music ministry.

We provide many outlets for ministry through our Worship Choir, Orchestra and Praise Bands. For the senior adults, we provide a unique opportunity of ministry through the “J.O.Y. Choir” (Just Older Youth). The children have the opportunity to develop musical understanding and ministry experience through “Kidsing” (children’s choir) and the “Summer Children’s Musical.” From Quartets to ensembles, from solos to choirs, Henry Baptist Church is an excellent place to discover how the Lord can use you in the music ministry! It is the cry of my heart that week to week, the Lord would make manifest His presence in the music and worship at our church. May we as a music ministry not glory in what we have produced in the worship services of our church, but as Paul said in I Corinthians 1:31, “He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.” May the Lord continue to exalt Himself through the vocal chords of the singers, through the breath of the horns, through the rhythm of the drums, and through the pluck of the strings. “Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord!” (Psalm 150:6)
